GINA X West Midlands women in planning

Women’s rights don’t stop being relevant when International Women’s Day ends. Neither should the action. We were delighted to attend an event hosted by Women in Planning West Midlands, revisiting this year’s International Women’s Day theme: Rights. Justice. Action. For all women and girls.

Our Head of GINA, Lucy, joined the conversation to explore women’s safety, the importance of challenging gender inequality & the need to turn conversations into meaningful, lasting change. With women’s safety recognised in the National Planning Policy Framework (NPPF) for the first time, there is an important opportunity to ensure the places we live, work & spend time in better reflect women’s experiences & needs.

Thank you to Women in Planning West Midlands for inviting us to contribute & to Pegasus Group for kindly hosting the event.
